This special version was developed in collaboration with Markless Astronomics with the needs of the Big Dob owner in mind. Markless Astronomics has available mounting brackets, power cables, and DewGuard wiring kits to make the installation of the Big-Dob DewBuster™ Controller (BDDB) a simple plug and play installation. Contact Charlie Starks of Markless Astronomics for help with brackets and wiring for installing the controller on your telescope. Since most Big Dob applications will not need it, we have made the Temperature Sensor optional reducing your cost. However if you need the  the Temperature Sensor you may add it to your order by selecting it below. The controller has all necessary control circuitry so implementing Temperature Control is simply a matter of plugging in a Temperature Sensor.  When no Temperature Sensor is used the upper Left and upper Right outputs function as Medium Power outputs and the control knob varies the duty cycle (power level) on all heater outputs. The BDDB is powered through a female RCA jack so your telescope must be equipped with a male RCA plug to supply power to the BDDB (or you may use the optional power cord listed blow). Over-current protection is provided by a self-resetting 10 Amp PTC fuse inside the controller (no need to carry spare fuses) and any heater or power outlet is capable of providing the full 10 Amps of  current.

THE "BIG DOB" DewBuster™ Controller DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY ADDITIONAL ITEMS BUT THE FOLLOWING ARE AVAILABLE: 
                                  Power Cord: NOTE: The Big-Dob DewBuster™ Controller does not need a power cord when used with Markless Astronomics wiring kits, however the Power Cords are handy if you wish to use the controller with other telescopes.

  Standard Temperature Sensor(s):    For telescopes with heater strips (clips onto heater).
Newtonian Temperature Sensor(s): For special situations where heater strips are not used. MORE INFO ON NEWTONIAN SENSOR.
                                     Resistors: for building homemade heater strips.
